Professor Layton and the Unwound Future Review:

Professor Layton and the Unwound Future Review:Professor Layton and the Unwound Future Review:

The coveted puzzle franchise takes a big step forward... in time!

“EIGHTY-EIGHT MIIILES PER HOOOOUR!”

The phrase is an iconic one for those who grew up watching adventure movies in the ‘80s and ‘90s. The immortal words of Doctor Emmett Brown in the first Back to the Future, having just witnessed his beloved time-traveling Delorean perform its task for the first time, have fittingly transcended decades. Ever since I first saw the trilogy back in the mid-90’s, I’ve been waiting for a new time-travel adventure to capture my attention and enthrall me in the same way. Little did I know that story would come not to the big screen, but instead, to one of the smallest.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Review:

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Review: Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Review:

Spider-Man shatters the mold along with dimensions, but misses the mark by a Marvel mile.

With the introduction of the Spider-Man movies, Spider-Man: The Movie (the videogame) made a big multiplatform splash in 2002. While there had been Spider-Man video games practically since there had been video game consoles, Spider-Man 2 made an even bigger splash introducing a new sandbox format that finally made for a good web-slinging title. Unfortunately, no solo Spider-Man title had captured gamers that way since. Activision and Beenox set out to change that with Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions.

Ys Seven Review:

Ys Seven Review:Ys Seven Review:

Roll Dogi roll!

For those who are familiar with the Ys series, you will know that it usually revolves around two adventurers: Adol the Red and his companion, Dogi. And for those of you who enjoy a good Action RPG but have never heard of the Ys series before, you should be ashamed of yourselves. But, if I just so happened to pique your interest in this title, and you own a PSP, then you can redeem yourself by picking up Ys Seven. I’m willing to let go and forgive.
